A complete roof renewal which included erecting scaffolding up to the roof level on three sides and stripping back the existing roof coverings back to the joists. New works consisted of installing 100mm PIR insulation between the joists and multi foil insulation over the joists fixed down wit 25 x 50mm counter battens which also act as ventilation. Natural Spanish Domiz Slates were used to cover the entire roof laid on battens and Tyvek felt with new lead flashings. All the chimney stacks were re-pointed and re-flaunched at the request of the client and vented clay cowls were installed to the pots required. The small flat roof to the rear was stripped back to the ply deck and insulated using 120m PIR insulation with and additional layer of 18mm ply on top covered the 3 layer torch on felt with a Charcoal Grey Tecnatorch cap sheet.

Works consisting of addressing a long term issue of water leaking from bay roof, insufficient drip on the coping stones and numerous coats of render. Roof stripped back to ply deck and render removed back to brick, new roof coverings of 3 layers felt were used and new sand cement render was applied. Lead capping was fixed on top of the coping stones with building paper to ensure the drip was sufficient and dint return any water onto the bricks.

Full roof replacement removing old man made slates along with felt and batten back to the rafters as well as removing flat roof covering back to ply deck. New works consisting of fixing new multi foil insulation over the rafters  with new counter battens, felt and batten, installing two 2 Velux windows and recovering the pitched roof with Jutland Fibre Cement Slates with all new lead flashings to the sides and new dry ridge kit. The flat roof was re-covered using three layers felt consisting of a layer of perforated flat, a layer of underlay and Charcoal grey cap sheet with all associated flashings.
